Ruoran (Lerena) Zhao
Lerena approaches design as a way of thinking — an exploratory process that moves fluidly across disciplines. Her work spans products, furniture, architecture, and interiors, unified by a deep curiosity about how material, scale, form and sensation shape human experience, and how design can help open new ways of seeing, understanding, and relating. She embraces ambiguity and uncertainty as a space for discovery, allowing unanticipated solutions to emerge through research and creative dialogue with the context — an ongoing pursuit to not only respond, but to expand the boundaries of what design can reveal and reshape.
Martina is an industrial designer whose practice bridges the intuitive and the intentional. With nearly a decade of experience across consumer electronics, outdoor gear, and CMF, she approaches each project with a sculptor’s eye — sketching by hand, refining form with care, and sensing the subtle interplay between shape, color, and meaning. Her work has been recognized by international design awards such as iF, Red Dot, and IDEA. To her, design is the art of rewriting rules — crafting moments of clarity, poetry, and freedom within the framework of function.
